Dr. Melissa Kolenda

I was born and raised in New England , where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western New England College in Massachusetts. I then moved  to Florida in 2004 to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange Florida.. I have since continued my education and am a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

The reason I went into Chiropractic is due to a Chiropractor I met while in high school. I was always a very active individual and involved competitive cheerleading, dance and gymnastics. He kept me healthy and strong during these times. In college I had been diagnosed with a thyroid condition and with supplements and adjustments, he kept me from having to take medications that I would have had to stay on for the rest of my life. It was at that point that I made the decision to become a Chiropractor. I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and keep them healthy and free of medications.
